Samsung reveals its new S21 series

What are you looking for in a new phone? If it's taking photos a pro would be happy with, cinema-quality movies you can carry around and a gaming powerhouse, maybe one of the new Samsung Galaxy S21 series will be your perfect fit?

But can a phone deliver all this? We got our hands on Samsung's latest release to find out.

Samsung Galaxy S21 5G

The new Galaxy S21 5G comes with a 6.2-inch display, which is perfect for the pocket but large enough to really get lost in your favourite content. And when you combine its powerful chipset with the 120 Hz refresh rate? That’s perfect for gamers. And it doesn't matter which model you pick. Worried about staring at that amazing display for too long? All phones come with Eye comfort shield, keeping harmful blue light out of your face. Plus, the screens adapt their lighting to your environment - which keeps things comfortable when you're on a Netflix marathon.

Like the rest of the series, the Samsung Galaxy is a good looking phone. Previously tinted glass, the camera housing is now made of metal. This keeps the camera system much safer but also looks great - plus the metal comes in different colours to the rest of the phone so you can mix and match.

Love to shoot video? All models can capture 8K through the front and rear lenses at the same time. And if you need help getting the moment just right, use the very clever Director View - which lets you switch between loads of different camera set ups. And there's no need to switch back to camera. 8K Video snap means you can single out high res stills and share them straight to social.

Samsung Galaxy S21+ 5G

Like to go large? The Samsung Galaxy S21+ 5G amps things up to a 6.7-inch Full HD+ screen. Then there's the camera combination - a 12MP wide lens, a 12MP ultra-wide lens and a 64MP telephoto lens that can handle a 3x hybrid zoom.

Thanks to combination of Exynos 2100 processor, plenty of RAM and superfast 5G*, these phones are all about smooth performance – whether that’s buffer-free streaming or getting online. A big screen needs more power, and the S21+ 5G features a 20% bigger battery to keep your browsing, chats, movie watching and gaming going for as long as you need. You can even share your power with your other compatible devices when they run low.

Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G

The largest and most powerful of the S21s, the Ultra 5G weighs in with its 6.8-inch display, packing Quad HD resolution. You might never turn on your TV again!

And if you're going for the ultimate pictures, this is the one you want. Its incredible quad camera and massive 108 MP wide angle lens are a deadly combo. From late night to selfie studio magic, this phone has some brilliant tricks up its sleeves.

You don't have to be a pro to get pro pics. Thanks to Super Resolution AI, when you hit the shutter button, your S21 Ultra will take 20 separate images and then knit together the best. And with 3x the dynamic range of the S20, your snaps will look better than ever.

The Ultra 5G is all about security. Samsung Knox Vault keeps all of your most important info and data safe from even determined hackers. Share a picture to social and you can easily turn off location metadata. Share a picture or file with a mate and you can revoke their access if you need to or put an expiry date on a file. Then you’ve got an in-screen fingerprint reader offering instant secure access to all your apps and content.

Don’t miss out! Pre-order your brand-new Samsung Galaxy S21 now.

*5G functionality requires compatible network connection and tariff.
