Meet the BlackBerry Key2

The BlackBerry Key 2 truly is a thing of wonder, and it looks the part too. This time, there’s an aluminium frame which not only looks great, but also provides extra durability. And you’ll be pleased to hear that the BlackBerry’s iconic keyboard hasn’t gone anywhere. But let’s delve a little deeper…

Strong and handsome

The first thing you’ll notice is just how durable it looks – the classy aluminium frame certainly helps with that – and its soft touch back makes it really nice to hold, and get a good grip on.

Our type of keyboard

The proper keyboard is still one of the BlackBerry Key2’s big selling points, and it’s been through a redesign which now makes it even easier to type when you’re on the move. And thanks to the new ‘Speed Key’, your apps, contacts and functions are easier to get to from anywhere on the phone.

Cameras at the double

The BlackBerry Key2 comes with two rear cameras that’ll give you bright, great-looking photos at any time of the day. You can get closer to the action with the Key2’s Super Zoom – even if you’re far away from your subject, you’ll get awesome photos with brilliant detail. Feeling arty? Use a Bokeh effect, and take shots like a pro – with a crisp foreground and a blurred background.

Let’s go under the hood

The first thing to mention is the space. There’s loads of it. 64GB to precise, more than enough room for all your favourite apps, photos and songs.

Battery life is a plus, too, with 3,500mAh to burn – that’s up to two days’ worth. When the battery finally does run out, Quick Charge will get you back up to speed in no time.

Oh, and here’s another clever thing to tell you about the battery. It picks up your daily charging habits, and works out when’s the best time for you to charge to maximise your battery. Never run out of battery right in the middle of that important meeting again.

So, what do we think?

The BlackBerry Key2 is certainly striking – we rather think it’s a touch of class. Thanks to its metal frame and iconic keyboard, it’ll certainly stand out. It’s fast, has bags of storage, and those two rear cameras will help you take winning photos. It’s the whole package.
