Chrome for Android gets 'tap to search'

Ever been browsing the web and seen something that you want to find out more about? At the moment, you have to tap and hold to highlight the word, tap copy, open a new tab, tap and hold on the address bar, tap paste and finally tap search. Google’s realised that that is a very long-winded process and has introduced a tap to search feature to Chrome for Android.

Now, when you’re browsing on Chrome on your Android phone, all you do is tap on a word and then tap on the Google button that appears at the bottom of the screen. Your phone will automatically select the word, and any relevant words around it (see the GIF below to see what we mean), and start the Google search so you can browse much faster.
