3 new wireless headphones from Beats

It’s been a while since Beats by Dre upgraded its range. So it comes as no surprise that Apple has introduced three new models - Beats X, Solo3 and Powerbeats3 – all in one evening at the iPhone 7 press conference.

And when we found out that all three of the new headphones would include the same W1 chip found in the new Apple AirPods, it made us want to take an even closer look at each one.

Beats X

Light and flexible, the Beats X’s ergonomic design is built for comfort and convenience. They boast a tangle-free cable, and the eartips have built-in magnets, which snap together when they’re worn round your neck, or not in use.

When it comes to charging, the earphones use Fast Fuel. This consists of a Lightning cable, which supplies your headphones with a whopping two hours of power after a short five-minute charge. Alternatively, forty-five minutes of charging provides you with eight hours of playback. And with the W1 chip, you can connect to an iPhone with a mere touch of your phone.

Who are they for?

Beats X are ideal for traditional all-round headphone users looking for a convenient and compact wireless solution.

Solo3

With the signature bold Beats design and on-ear cushioned ear cups, the headphones look as good as they sound. The ear cups can be easily adjusted so you can customise a fit for comfort that lasts all day.

When it comes to impressive batteries, it really is all about the Solo3. The wireless headphones can supply three hours of playback on a short five-minute charge using the micro USB cable supplied. The headphones even buffer outside noise, so you can relax knowing that no matter how loud your music is, it can’t be heard by anyone other than you.

Who are they for?

Solo3 are the perfect wireless headphones for expert music lovers looking for maximum clarity, breadth and balance of sound.

Powerbeats3

The Powerbeats3 come with multiple eartips for a personalised and comfortable fit. Ideal for workouts, the headphones offer flexible, secure-fit earhooks and a cable management clip that keeps them in place while you’re on the go.

Boasting sweat and water resistance, the Powerbeats3’s key component is durability. In terms of quality, the wireless headphones give a clear, dynamic sound. The noise-isolation feature ensures that you enjoy an immersive listening experience every time. And with Fast Fuel, a five-minute charge gives you one hour of playback.

Who are they for?

Powerbeats3 are compatible with users on the move. They offer a powerful experience to step up any gym performance. Order your Powerbeats3 wireless headphones here, from our Currys website.
