We compare the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 vs Note Edge

Samsung’s Galaxy Note 3 was the big screen phone that caught everyone’s attention in 2013. It was one of our best sellers, so it was fair to say expectations of the new Note 4 were pretty high. And, thankfully Samsung didn’t disappoint.

The brand new Note 4 has some really exciting features you’re going to love, but the Korean firm is no one-trick pony. As well as the much anticipated Note 4, the world has been treated to a secondary handset release – introducing the Galaxy Note Edge. Check out our video from IFA in Berlin to see what all the fuss is about. Or, if you prefer – read on…

HOW DO THEY COMPARE?

The Note series is renowned for its large size. The Note 4 boasts a huge 5.7-inch display, surprisingly only 0.1-inches larger than the new Note Edge. But, if we’re talking screen size, we must make reference to the Edge’s sloped design, which acts as an independent notification centre. This really is a unique selling point, and you’ll struggle to find anything that can match it in the mobile market right now. You can see it in action in the video.

Both handsets come bundled with the S Pen stylus, which can be used to navigate around the two phones. It also provides the options to makes notes on the go or to simply copy and paste images by drawing around them.
