BlackBerry Blend - the ultimate business work app

The BlackBerry Passport has finally been officially unveiled by BlackBerry, and one of the most exciting things about it was a new app, called BlackBerry Blend.

This app lets you get to all the messages, documents and media that’s on your Passport using your computer or tablet.

BlackBerry Blend works using Wi-Fi. Just open the app and log in. Because everything is done over the internet, your Passport can be in the next room or in the office, and you can still access everything that’s stored on it, including contacts, email addresses and more.

Everything is kept securely on your phone, so once you log out and close the app, nothing is left on the computer or tablet. It’s completely safe, and no one can get to anything sensitive if they use computer or tablet after you.

And it doesn’t matter what tablet or computer you want to use with BlackBerry Blend. Macs, Windows computers, Android tablets and iPads are all compatible, just download the app from the app stores.

One of the things we really liked about BlackBerry Blend was that everything happened on the computer or tablet just as it did on the phone. So when you get a text or email, a notifications pops up when you’re using Blend at the same time. Then you can reply right from the app, and it gets send straight away from your phone.

We think this really is a must have app for any BlackBerry Passport owner, even if they’re not using the Passport as a business phone. But for all you workers out there, download BlackBerry Blend from your app store now.
