Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini review

Hands on with the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini
Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini review

This Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini still packs loads of the best features of its big brother, theSamsung Galaxy S3. And we love that it’s all been squeezed into such a small package.

It’s like someone squashed a Galaxy S3. The S3 Mini has the same rounded corners and gentle curves. That, coupled with its small size, makes it very easy to hold. And we like that it looks fun and friendly.

The Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini has all the camera features of the big S3. We really like being able to play with so many things. It means we can always find settings that give the perfect photo. And the 5MP shots that we shot were mostly high in detail with good colours.

We enjoyed watching a movie on the S3 Mini. Its screen is high enough resolution to show things clearly. And it’s really bright, which helped us see the screen when the sun came out. The size and shape of the phone is also really good for holding for a long time, so you can play games comfortably for ages.

The S3 Mini comes with Samsung’s S Voice voice controls. It’s really handy as we were able to talk to the phone to set reminders, make phone calls, send texts, get directions and more. If you need to get stuff done while driving, or just want to take a quick note, S Voice is the perfect tool.

It’s a small phone, so the S3 Mini has a small battery. But it still lasted the whole day without a recharge. And if you use your phone less than we do, you’ll get even more life out of it.

The S3 Mini has some cool smart features. Smart Stay kept the screen on as long as we were looking at it. Best Photo took a fast burst of eight photos and let us choose our favourite. And Smart Alert vibrates the phone when you pick it up if you’ve got a new message or missed call. It all makes the phone easier to use.
