Sony Xperia Z3 Compact vs Sony Xperia Z1 Compact

How do the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact and Xperia Z1 Compact compare?
Sony Xperia Z3 Compact vs Sony Xperia Z1 Compact

The Sony Xperia Z3 Compact is one of our favourite phones of 2014. It’s small, stylish and incredibly powerful. It also comes in some chic new colours that look stunning.

We’ve taken the new green Z3 Compact to show what an upgrade it is over last year’s Xperia Z1 Compact. And there’s a lot more to it than just a new coat of paint.

There’s not a lot to tell the new Z3 Compact apart from the Z1 Compact. But the Z3 is a little thinner and there’s a lot less space around the edge of the screen. That means the screen’s bigger and the whole phone looks nicer and more modern. But both of these phones are a fantastic size for one-handed use and pocketability.

The Z3 Compact has been given a big entertainment boost over the Z1 Compact. It comes with PS4 Remote Play so you can play your PlayStation 4 games remotely on the phone. It’s also got a faster processor so games and movies run even better than they did on the Z1 Compact.

The screens are pretty similar between these two phones. The new Z3 Compact has a slightly bigger display and it looks a bit brighter and more colourful. But both are HD and make everything you do on your phone look great.

On paper, the cameras are identical. But Sony has given the Z3 Compact a new lens that helps with colours and sharpness. It’s also got better software that helps make your photos look even better. We loved the camera on the Z1 Compact, but the Z3 has managed to improve it.
