Samsung Galaxy S7 tips and tricks

We had a good look at the stunning Samsung Galaxy S7 recently, and we managed to uncover a few tips and tricks. Check them out below, and you’ll be able to get the most out of your Galaxy S7 as soon as you receive it.

Get ready for ‘action’ photography

The Samsung Galaxy S7’s camera is simply amazing. Its super-quick autofocus means you can shoot fast-moving pictures with little or no blurring. If you’ve always wanted to try your hand at sports or wildlife photography, you’ll be able to take action shots with spectacular results.

There’s also a new Motion Panorama mode, that lets you capture moving subjects in panoramic shots.

This transforms a typical panoramic photograph into an amazing video snapshot. To re-live the action, you simply swipe your screen or pan the phone sideways.

Explore your Game Launcher

The Galaxy S7 has been designed with serious mobile gamers in mind, and features cutting-edge 3D graphics technology to rival home consoles. On top of that, it comes with a powerful Game Launcher app packed with handy features:

No alerts - Nobody likes being interrupted in the middle of a game, and this is where the ‘No Alerts’ mode comes in. As its name suggests, you can use this to stop notification pop-ups from putting you off your flow as you head towards high-score glory.

Lockdown - You can now lock your ‘Recent’ and ‘Back’ keys during a game. This will prevent you from accidentally exiting the action when things begin to heat up and your fingers become a blur.

Record your greatest hits - Recording and sharing gaming sessions is incredibly popular, and it’s been made easy on the Galaxy S7 with a simple ‘game recording’ option. This includes a ‘picture-in-picture’ mode, where you can film yourself as you commentate on the on-screen action.

Adjust your game settings – If you’re running low on power and want to prioritise battery life ahead of your gameplay, you can easily do this. The Galaxy S7 lets you dial down your resolution to an ‘extreme low power’ mode.

Customise your always-on-display

The Galaxy S7 comes with a new always-on-display feature that shows basic information on your screen even when it’s turned off.

The great thing is that you can customise this to show the information you want, which could be the time, battery life, calendar notifications, or tickers for missed calls and unread messages. You can even choose background images to customise it even further.

We’re sure that the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge are going to have lots more surprises in store. If you uncover any tips and tricks of your own, please revisit this page and share your secrets below.
