iD launches free data rollover

The UK’s only free data rollover service puts you in control of your data.
iD launches free data rollover

iD, the 4G mobile network from Carphone Warehouse, launched its new Data Rollover feature today - becoming the only network in the UK to provide this service free of charge. It gives you the power to roll over unused data into your next month’s allowance at no extra cost.

How iD Data Rollover works

iD Data Rollover is available to new and existing iD customers on select pay monthly contracts:

  • 1-month GoTo SIM Only plans.
  • 12-month GoTo plans.
  • 24-month GoTo plans.

At the end of each month, unused data on your plan gets added to your next monthly allowance.

When the new month starts, your Data Rollover allowance gets used first, and then your standard monthly data allowance is used. Unused Data Rollover expires at the end of each month.

You can easily monitor and control your data in the ‘My iD Account’ section of the iD website, or by using the iD App.

Why iD introduced Data Rollover…

Adam Dunlop, iD's General Manager, says: “We’re delighted to announce the introduction of free Data Rollover on all our GoTo plans. We’ve listened to our customers who have told us they want more control over the data they use, so we’re giving them the flexibility to use data they might not use in any given month at no extra charge.

“Data is one of the key considerations when choosing the right plan to suit your lifestyle, and we know data usage can vary from month to month, and can often result in higher monthly charges. This is why we’ve introduced Data Rollover, to give our customers more control over their plans and better value for money”.

iD’s range of 4G plans…

iD launched in May 2015 with the aim of providing more flexible contract options tailored to your needs. GoTo plans, which includes Data Rollover, start from £7 per month (SIM Only), and £11.50 for plans with a handset.

In addition to its GoTo plans, iD also offers:

  • ShockProof plans that can be capped to prevent bill shock.
  • TakeAway plans that allow roaming in 29 countries at no extra cost.
  • DataOnly plans for use with tablets, dongles or MiFi devices.

iD plans can be bought in Carphone Warehouse stores, and on the iD website.
