Better as one

Meet PRIV® by BlackBerry™, the Canadian company’s newest smartphone, combining Android’s ease of use with its own notable security and professionalism. The coming together of the two mobile legends is a move that will no doubt put PRIV on the map, and this is everything we know at the moment.

Hey, good-looking

Fronting the new smartphone is a 5.4-inch Quad HD display, which elegantly wraps around the sides of the phone, just like the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge. The image quality is really good, and honestly, never something we’d expect to see from the traditional BlackBerry family.

The best of both worlds

There’s more to the PRIV than first meets the eye. A quick slide up will reveal BB’s iconic QWERTY keyboard with physical buttons, which also doubles up as a trackpad. If it’s not to your taste however, you can still use the on-screen keyboard as you would with any normal Android smartphone.

Round the back of the phone is a powerful Schneider-Kreuznach® certified camera. The German lens manufacturer has over 100 year’s experience in this department, so it’s hardly surprising that the image quality is first class. Just check out our video at the top of this article to see the clarity.

Under the hood

Buried deep inside the elegant smartphone is a massive 3,410mAh battery, which will happily support a full day’s use, even if you’re using apps and streaming media a lot. There’s also BlackBerry’s exclusive DTEK™ security app pre-installed, providing an extra level of privacy for your peace of mind.

We’ll be spending more time with the new handset soon, but you can order it from us now.
