Wearables - what's new?

We’ve had a huge number of new Android wearables recently announced, from the new Sony SmartWatch 3 and SmartBand Talk, to Samsung’s new Gear S and LG’s circular G Watch R.

But, sometimes it’s not easy to know which wearable will suit your needs. Are you looking to track your fitness, or are you purely wanting to enjoy the convenience of having all your notifications appear on your wrist? Whatever you want to know, we want to help you get there.

Some of the world’s most renowned tech manufacturers are now rolling out an impressive line of wearables that can make every day life a more streamlined and trackable experience. For example, Sony’s SmartBand Talk is perfect for those wanting to keep on top of their fitness. It’s super lightweight, and features a low-powered e-ink display, meaning it wastes no time or battery power providing you with information you don’t need.

On the other hand (or wrist) we have the LG G Watch R, one of the best-looking smartwatches currently available. Running Android Wear, this handsome timepiece is much more than any run-of-the-mill watch. Google Now cards act as your notifications alongside text messages, connecting you to almost everything from Facebook to the football score. There’s also a great selection of customisable watch faces to choose from, to keep your device personal to you.

If the G Watch isn’t for you however, you won’t be short of alternatives from the likes of Motorola, Samsung and Sony. Check out our full range of wearables available both online and in store right here.
