The Samsung Galaxy Alpha was announced this morning, finally revealing the details of one of the most hotly anticipated phones of 2014.
The Galaxy Alpha is Samsung’s first Galaxy smartphone made from metal. It has a 4.7 inch HD screen, which is the perfect size for using one one-handed while still being big enough to enjoy games and movies.
That screen size and metal frame make it incredibly stylish. The squared-off aluminium sides look really modern. And the Galaxy Alpha is Samsung’s thinnest ever smartphone, which makes it look fantastic and feel really nice to hold.
Under the home button, the Galaxy Alpha has a fingerprint scanner like the Galaxy S5 so you can keep everything really secure. And on the back next to the camera is a heart rate monitor that we also saw on the Galaxy S5 that’ll help you keep fit.
It’s also pretty powerful so you’ll have no problem running your favourite apps and games. That’s because it has a super-speedy octacore processor that’s clocked at a massive 1.8GHz.
