Replace your phone tablet and PC with this smartwatch

The Neptune Suite is a whole range of dumb accessories that make the Neptune Hub smartwatch a really useful wearable.

Neptune Hub

Last month we told you about the Neptune Hub smartwatch, a powerful wearable that handles all the functions of a normal smartphone and sends everything to a dumb screen when you need extra space to see what’s going on.

And now Neptune has unveiled a host of new accessories for the Hub on its Indiegogo crowd funding page that’ll let it replace all of your computer gadgets.

Neptune Tab Screen for Neptune Suite

To start with, there’s a new Tab Screen - a 10 inch touchscreen with a front facing camera that’ll turn the Hub smartwatch into a tablet.

Neptune Keys for Neptune Suite

If you want a laptop, Neptune Keys, a Bluetooth keyboard, can team up with the Tab Screen or it can make it easy to type directly on the watch.

Neptune Dongle for Neptune Suite

When you need a bigger screen, like a desktop PC, you can plug the Neptune Dongle into any monitor or TV with a HDMI port.

Neptune Headset for Neptune Suite

And finally, for music lovers, the Neptune Headset is a pair of wireless earphones that Neptune says snap together magnetically when not in use to form a fashionable necklace. It also doubles as a charging cable that lets you charge two devices as well as the headset from a single socket.

Running so much from a single smartwatch raises some questions. Will the watch’s battery last long enough? And is there enough storage for it to replace a proper computer?

Well, the Hub has a 1,000mAh battery, which is huge for a smartwatch. And each of the accessories has its own battery, so the Hub doesn’t have to power a big screen and can even steal charge from them.

And as for storage, the Hub has 64GB memory, which should be enough for most people. But you might need to invest in some cloud storage if you’ve got a big collection of photos and music.
