More flagship phones are on their way in 2018...
It's already been a big year for smartphones, and there's still more to come. When it comes to major flagships, here's what to look out for in the second half of the 2018.
Samsung Galaxy Note 9

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will be the next big Android smartphone to launch. According to Bloomberg News, the Note 9 Unpacked event will take place on Auguast 9 in New York. We’ve heard that the new handset could have a staggering 6.4-inch display with the trendy super-wide 18.5:9 aspect ratio. We’re also expecting to see a dual camera, a huge battery, and a few improvements made to the iconic S Pen.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium
Sony has announced that the Xperia XZ2 Premium will arrive "this summer". The Japanese tech giant hasn't confirmed that it'll be available in the UK, but that's obviously what we're hoping for. It’s going to be a metal and glass handset with a ‘3D glass’ surface and a 5.8-inch 4K HDR display (30% brighter than the last year’s XZ Premium, Sony says). It’ll also have a dual lens camera set up, weighing in at 19MP + 12MP.
Pixel 3

Google already has a new line of Pixels in the works, with the alleged codenames of Albacore, Blueline and Crosshatch. They’ll probably be revealed by the Mountain View company in October.
Fun fact: The fishy codenames have become a bit of a tradition for the company’s smartphones, with the likes of Marlin, Walleye and Sailfish appearing in the past. Anyway, we digress…
The new Pixels will undoubtedly be running Android P (Google's latest operating system) in its purest form, and the camera may well single be a single lens - with Google going for quality, rather than quantity. There are also rumours that the Pixel 3 will have a notch at the top of its display, in the style made famous by iPhone X.
iPhone

Apple is being as secretive as ever on the iPhone front, but it usually launches some new phones in September. Make a note in your diary, iPhone fans.
