6 reasons to make Sony Xperia XZ Premium your next smartphone

We love Sony’s XZ Premium, and so should you…

Are you in the market for a new smartphone? If you’re looking for one that really separates the wheat from the chaff, the Sony Xperia XZ Premium has got a lot going for it…

1. 4K and HDR comes to mobile

The Sony Xperia XZ Premium features an astounding 5.5-inch 4K HDR screen, with 807 pixels per inch. To put that into perspective, the Samsung Galaxy S8’s 5.8-inch infinity display has 570. So, it goes without saying, videos and games look pretty awesome.

2. Wired for sound

Sony knows its fair share about music. Not only does the company create top-drawer audio equipment, but the label also signed some of the biggest names in the industry. As such, the XZ Premium has Hi-res audio tech built it, so you can hear everything as your favourite artist originally intended.

3. Watertight

It wouldn’t be a Sony smartphone without water-resistance. Just like those that have come before it, the XZ Premium is certified as IP68, meaning it can be dunked in 1.5m of fresh water for up to 30 minutes.

4. Slowwwwwwww motion

Your old phone might have had a slow motion setting on the camera, but we bet it wasn’t like this. With the XZ Premium you can shoot video at super slow 960 frames per second, letting you see details not even the human eye can catch.

5. The best shot, every time

If that’s not enough, the 19MP Motion Eye camera also has a new predictive capture technology built in. Designed to make sure you never miss that perfect freeze frame, it will start taking photos even before you’ve pressed the shutter button, so you can pick the best shot.

6. The mirror image

A smartphone with loads of bells and whistles is just half the battle. Thankfully the Sony Xperia XZ Premium looks the part, too, with a beautiful reflective chrome design, exclusively available from Carphone Warehouse.
