4 ways to shop with Carphone Warehouse

Should you be on a Pay Monthly, Pay-as-you-Go, Flexible Leasing or SIM Only deal?
4 ways to shop with Carphone Warehouse

Shop your way

What works for one person might not work for you. That’s why there isn’t just one way to shop at Carphone Warehouse. In fact, when it comes to your smartphone usage, we’ve got a whole range of different options, so you can choose the best one to suit you.

Pay Monthly

What is Pay Monthly?

A Pay Monthly (or contract) deal means you’ll pay a fixed amount each month for a phone with a set allowance of texts, calls and data. The set amount you’re allowed refreshes at the end of the month. Pay Monthly deals are usually over a 24-month period – but you can get 18, 12 and even 1-month rolling contracts too, depending on the network.

The benefits

You know exactly how much you’re paying, as well as how much data, texts and minutes you have each month. And in most cases, you’ll even get a much larger amount of allowances than you would on a Pay-as-you-Go deal. What’s more, Pay Monthly gives you the opportunity to get a great deal and the phone you want, without having to pay a fortune up front.

What is Pay-as-you-Go?

With Pay-as-you-Go plans you’re able to keep track of how much you’re spending, and avoid any unwanted surprises. It’s simple - just add credit to your phone and you’ll be able to make calls and send texts, without the commitment of a contract. You’ll also have the option of buying bundles of minutes, texts and data too.

The benefits

If you don’t really use your phone that much, you could end up saving money in the long run. And if you thought there’s limited choice on Pay-as-you-Go, think again. We offer Pay-as-you-Go on a wide range of networks, and you’ll still get all the network benefits you’d get on pay monthly.

SIM Only

What is SIM Only?

If you already have the phone you want, then maybe SIM Only’s the best solution for you. It works in almost the same way as a normal mobile phone contract, except the deal doesn’t include a handset. Instead, you’ll receive a SIM card - along with an agreed amount of monthly texts, call minutes and data.

The benefits

Content with your current handset? Then SIM Only could work out cheaper than your standard monthly contract. Also, it gives you the flexibility to switch networks, and get a taste of all the different benefits on offer. What’s more, SIM only contracts are quite short, so if you’re waiting on a specific phone to be released, it could work out as an ideal short-term solution.

Flexible Leasing

What is Flexible Leasing?

Get your hands on the latest smartphones every year, with Carphone Warehouse's Flexible Leasing. Through fixed monthly rental payments you can always have the latest tech, and may then be able to switch to the latest device after 12 months.

The benefits

You get to choose from the latest and most popular smartphones, including iPhone X, iPhone 8/8 Plus, iPhone 7, Google Pixel 2/2 XL, Samsung Galaxy Note8, Samsung Galaxy S8/S8 Plus, and Sony Xperia XZ1. Plus, all the smartphones attached to Flexible Leasing are unlocked, so you can attach them whichever network you like.
