The Beatles catalogue finally comes to Spotify

Stream the Fab Four this Christmas

It’s been a Long and Winding Road, but The Beatles are now Fixing A Hole in their music streaming output. From 24 December, you’ll be able to listen to them Eight Days A Week, Here There and Everywhere.

The collection will be available on a variety of streaming channels: Amazon Music,Apple Music, Google Play Music, Deezer, Groove, Rhapsody, Slacker and TIDAL. And unlike old Taylor Swift, the quartet’s music will be available on free versions of the services, too.

You could just go to YouTube

Of course, a lot of The Beatles’ music has been available to digitally buy on iTunes and YouTube for a while. You can listen to full, uninterrupted albums - like Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, to name just one. But while this is all well and good, you can’t comfortably enjoy a video while walking down the street.

The catalogue coming to streaming services is really all about convenience, and is sure to brighten many a commuter’s morning.

The whole catalogue will be launched at 00:01 on Christmas Eve in the UK.
