The new colour extends commitments with (RED) charity
Apple has announced new versions of its acclaimed iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus flagship smartphones in a striking new colour.
The red paintjob is a continuation of the company’s commitment to the charity, (RED), who help to combat the spread of HIV and AIDS.
“Since we began working with (RED) 10 years ago, our customers have made a significant impact in fighting the spread of AIDS through the purchase of our products” commented Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO.
“The introduction of this special edition iPhone in a gorgeous red finish is our biggest (PRODUCT)RED offering to date in celebration of our partnership with (RED), and we can’t wait to get it into customers’ hands.”
Previous (RED) Apple products have appears in the past, including an iPod nano and set of Beats headphones. But this is the first time the Cupertino company has applied the colour to its flagship product.

The new (PRODUCT)RED iPhone 7 and 7 Plus will launch on Friday, 24 March (happily coinciding with Red Nose Day) and you can get them both from Carphone Warehouse.
