Introducing the Mate S and G8
Huawei has just announced two new phones and a brand new smartwatch at IFA, and they’re all looking pretty sharp.
To kick things off we’ve got the Mate S, featuring a 5.5-inch Full HD display, new fingerprint sensor, which can be used to answer phone calls and take selfies, and a 13MP camera. It’s ultra-slim design looks amazing too, at just 2.65mm.
Huawei is also spearheading the Force Touch movement on the Mate S, which is set to revolutionise the smartphone experience. Find out all about the new technology here.
We’ve briefly seen a secondary handset called the G8, too. It boasts a 5.5-inch Full HD display, 13MP camera and 3,000mAh battery. Updates to follow.
All new Huawei Watch
We’ve also enjoyed a peek at the sequel to the Huawei Watch, which was announced in March at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The new wearable follows in the footsteps of its predecessor with a flawless design that will excite those looking for a smartwatch with a more classic look.
