Huawei Mate 8 - a new style of business
The first device to be announced at Huawei’s CES press conference is the brand new Mate 8 smartphone, the successor to 2015’s Mate 7. With a generous 6-inch Full HD display, 16MP camera, octa-core processor and awesome 2-day battery life, we can’t wait to get our hands on it.
Rapid charging will bring with it one full day’s worth of usage from a swift 30-minute charge. And a fingerprint scanner on the rear will make sure the phone is secure, while doubling up as a shutter button for the front facing camera. Perfect for selfies.
A new feature, which builds on Huawei’s knock to capture function, allows you to now crop videos. By double tapping with two knuckles you can cut down lengthy videos quickly and easily.
Huawei Watch – a new style of fashion
Following huge excitement around the first Huawei Watch announced at MWC in 2015, we’re now introduced to two new Huawei smartwatches. Both timepieces are marketed towards female audiences, named Jewel (pictured above) and Elegant – the latter being slightly more expensive than the former.
The crown is at the 2 o’clock position, much like 2015’s Moto 360, but the biggest highlight comes in the form of Swarovski’s involvement. Both watches are bejewelled, looking incredibly premium.
Stay tuned for more CES news coming soon.
