The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will have a 16MP camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS) on the back and a 3.7MP camera capable of recording Quad HD video on the front, according to new leaks.
The rear camera on the Note 4 will apparently be made by Sony and be capable of recording 4K Ultra HD video. And all the videos and photos you shoot will be crystal clear thanks to the OIS that’ll keep everything steady even if your hands are shaking.
The front facing camera is said to come with some new modes to help you take great selfies. There’s Wide Selfie, to help you get more friends in shot, Selfie, which lets you activate the shutter with a smile, and Selfie Alarm, which makes it easy to use the rear camera to take super high res selfies.
The Note 4 also apparently has a special sensor that acts like a dedicated camera button. You just put your finger over it to take a photo. It means Samsung doesn’t have to squeeze the bulk of a physical button into a slim new phone.
Samsung is thought to be announcing the Galaxy Note 4 at its UNPACKED event, which is being held in Berlin on 3rd September. We’ll be at the event, bringing you live news on everything that Samsung unveils.
