Sony has put the name of an unannounced small tablet in the user guide for one of its Bluetooth speakers, accidentally revealing that it’s working on the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact.

Normally we see months of rumours before a big manufacturer like Sony unveils a new device, but Sony has spoiled the fun by mistakenly printing the name of its new tablet on a publicly available user manual.

As the new tablet is called ‘Compact’, we’d expect it to have a screen about 7 inches big. And we’d hope it’s pretty high spec as the Xperia Z1 Compact smartphone kept all the power of its big brother.

Unfortunately there are no rumoured details of it. But with the IFA tech show coming in just a couple of weeks, we could find out all about it there.
